Diane was born in Connecticut and grew
up experimenting with fiber art, including
embroidery, quilting, home decor sewing,
and braided rug making. Several years ago
she read the book "Hooking Rugs: New
Materials, New Techniques" by Gloria
Crouse and spent a year working with the
author, an internationally known fiber
artist. Diane creates small rugs, pillows,
and hats using time-honored traditions and
