"Having lived and traveled throughout the
Western United States and Europe, I
always had a fascination with the intimate
relationship between Light and Shadow.
Naturally my love grew further for Shape,
Form, Composition and Texture as it was
so gracefully captured within the
volumetric body of Light and so cleverly
accented by the negative space of
Shadow. The symbiotic relationship
between Light and Shadow is without a
doubt directly linked to the balance of Life
itself. From the rise and fall of the tide to
the birth and death of a star...always in
balance.

As a creative being, I have always
observed my surroundings in what some
would call an “atypical manner”. I tend to
seek out symmetrical and asymmetrical
forms with the same enthusiasm as a child’
s first visit to “The Most Magical Place On
Earth”. Breathtaking, emotional, and
unforgettable...”click!” The shutter freezes
a moment in time, forever captured is a
memory. I feel that it is important to look
at everything in Life in an “atypical
manner”. By observing something as small
as a grain of salt to something as grand as
a vast mountain range, one can gain
perspective from the inside-out.
