“Traveling by bicycle takes visitors far off the tourist path and into beautiful rural areas rarely seen by Westerners.  Cycling through rural villages inspires curiosity and openness from the many people encountered along the way – and the hard work of pedaling thousands of kilometers is rewarded by stories and images that capture fascinating faces, cultures and everyday living.

 

These photographs feature unique images of local people as they go about their daily lives.  They celebrate the color and joy and culture of India, Vietnam and even across America as seen from the seat of a bicycle. 

 

These photographs were taken using a twelve megapixel Canon Power Shot that yielded high pixel photos while being practical to carry on a bicycle over rough roads and not intimidating to locals."
