Using Holga photography to create surreal and stunningly beautiful imagery.

"The ethereal nature of light and the emotion it evokes are the foundations of my photography. My photographs usually start with an idea, and then evolve into compositions in which light and emotion are the primary subjects. To me, art is a synthesis of my personal dreams, the subjects that inspire me, my camera and techniques. Serenity, simplicity and emotion are my primary goals. That simplicity extends to my photographic medium as well.  I shoot primarily with film, not digital, and usually with a Holga toy camera.   The simplicity of the camera allows me to be entirely in the moment creatively.  As a result, my vision clarifies, I become more aware of the possibilities around me, and my subjects seem to respond in kind. When people view my photographs I want them to feel the emotion of the light, stir memories and connect to their own dreams."
