Aziz Mohammed was born in a city named Medina in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1981. At the age of 10, his parents suggested that he move to Jeddah to attend a private school, which has an excellent reputation for painting. Along with his parent's encouragement and a high school art teacher who recognized talent in the young man with a passion for drawing, Aziz was inspired to attend the prestigious Florence Art Academia in Italy. Extensive traveling throughout the world inspired Aziz’s love for landscapes and cityscapes. His extraordinary success in realist and impressionistic styles was rewarded with an invitation to become the artist of choice for several members of the Royal Family in Saudi Arabia to paint portraits of their loved ones. Whereas gifted musicians are born with perfect pitch, Aziz belongs to the small cadre of genuinely skilled artists who have an innate command of the foundations of composition, color and light.  Traditional in approach, yet extremely personal in application, Aziz's colorful landscapes and cityscape scenes are effused with tranquil sunlight. In each landscape, look for a coolness of vibrant flowers and trees in classic balance with brilliant fields of color.
