In this group of paintings: Power Lines, I have literally used the colors in my daily experience to illustrate a more abstract view of the world in which we live. This work is a study of color and form as well as a practice of belief. The crossing lines are a visual foundation. They represent energy as it flows in the universe. The color is reference to the subjective nature of our reality and the richness of our experience in life. Together, these two elements give us the full spectrum so to speak: the world and our perception of the world. The lines also demonstrate the connectivity in our daily experience with each other and the universe at large.
