As a graduate with an Art degree from the
University of San Jose State, Diana taught
art for 6 years in the Seattle School
District. For the last 26 years she has
owned her own business, Highflying
Banners, creating decorative sewn
applique banners for shopping centers,
museums, and cities around the world.
She also creates wearable art, some of
which has been featured at the prestigious
Renwick Gallery in D.C., The
Smithsonian Textile Museum, and the
Legion of Honor Museum in San
Francisco. Her paintings have been
exhibited in Olympia, Seattle, and most
notably at the offices of Paul Allen's
Vulcan Corporation.
